The Highland Liquor Co. grows from the community of Ullapool, just as the community of Ullapool grew from the Lochbroom fishing station. The original settlement, on Scotland’s West Highland coast, included a boat builder, a rope maker, a cooper, a blacksmith, a fish curer and a mason. The Highland Liquor Co. continues this tradition of local master craftsmen and artists.

Back in 1791, the first seven dwellings sought to establish the village by generating growth and this mindset still drives the community today. In the spirit of the original settlers, we are the source of premium spirits made by hand in the North West Highland region.
